To All of You, On What Matters
After eighty-seven years, I've learned what's important:
Not the house we lived in, but the memories we made there. Not the things we owned, but the people we loved. Not the meals themselves, but the conversations around the table. Not perfection, but presence.
Time moves faster than you think. Don't postpone joy. Don't save things for special occasions—Tuesday night dinner with your family is the special occasion.
Take pictures. Write things down. Tell the stories. These small moments are actually the big moments.
You are my greatest accomplishment and my deepest joy. May these words guide you when I cannot.
With all my love, Always
